JAIL DIRECTOR RUEL S RIVERA, Chief, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), joined the 33rd BJMP-8’s Regional Anniversary Celebration with the theme “Makatao at Maka-Diyos na Serbisyong Publiko Tungo sa Maunlad, Maayos, at Progresibong Pagbabago” on Friday, September 20, 2024 at the People’s Center, Tacloban City, Leyte.
We are also honored by the presence of JCSUPT RINCO T MONTAUS, Director for Comptrollership; JCSUPT DELVIC L OREIRO, Director for Information and Communications Technology Management/ Former Regional Director of BJMP Regional Office 8; JCSUPT ILNA RITA B MADERAZO, Director for Health Service; and the BJMPRO8’s command group: headed by JSSUPT BERNARDO M SANCHEZ, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau; JSSUPT MANUEL O CHAN JR, ARD for Administration; JSSUPT RILL F SONON, ARD for Operations; JCINSP JIM A BURANDAY, Acting RCDS.
Further, the event was likewise attended by visitors from the BJMP – National Headquarters (BJMP-NHQ), Chiefs of Offices and Support Services of BJMPRO-8, Jail Wardens, Regional Office Personnel, and partners from the different Local Government Unit (LGUs), Organizations, and friendly forces from the Government agencies.
The Jail Bureau proudly celebrates its 33 Years of providing quality and internationally-standardized Jail Service to the Community. Together, the BJMP-8 remains committed and dedicated to provide humane safekeeping and developmental opportunities to the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) as its contribution to a safe, just, and prosperous Philippines.
